How to choose a company to work for if you have multiple offers?
Do not go by the “brand” & “pay scale”.
## The Brand.
If you go for Infosys, TCS, etc. they don’t offer very attractive salary. The competition is huge (*do you have any idea of how many graduates they recruit each year?).
While on the other hand, start-ups offer better salary & learning opportunities.
You can interact directly with the CEOs & co-founder of the start-up. What will you learn if you are surrounded by entry-level employees in a big MNC? Absolutely nothing.
What will you get if the MNC performs exceptionally well? Peanuts.
On the other hand, you will get to hold key positions if the start-up does well.
》The Best Way.
The best way to choose a company to work for is to look for its LinkedIn profile. See the “Employees” section. Go to individual LinkedIn profiles of as many employees as you can. Observe their experience, qualifications, graduating institutions, etc.
If they seem to be interesting then join the company even if the salary they offer is not huge because you will get to learn a lot plus an amazing experience @ work.
