How to stay cool in a metro city?
If you are migrating from a village/town or small city to a metro city then your stay there can be cool if you stick to some principles:
## Don’t lend much.
It might be tempting to help out people if you have “some savings” but stop. Do not lend beyond a level. It may take an ugly turn when the other party refuses to give back the borrowed money.
## Manage your time.
It is not your local area. Don’t expect people to be warm, generous & helpful. If you get “No” from them then you should not hesitate to say “no to their requests”. Stay away from wasting your time on people not genuine or worthy of your time.
## Relationship building.
This is very crucial to understand. In layman terminology ” यहाँ रिस्ते बनाने आये हो?” (“Are you here for relationships?”). You need to ask this question yourself every time you make a decision. You will never get off the right path.
## Get in touch with old friends from the city.
We all have school & college friends & acquaintances. So, instead of going for new relationships, reach out to old- time trusted friends.
