No matter in what trouble you might have been caught in the Buddha’s quotes are the best pacifier. It is hard to imagine your life when things don’t happen as per your will. We often take results for granted. Since, results are not in our direct control we fall prey to sadness.
The finest way to remain happy is by showering love on yourself. More than anyone else you need your love.
As Buddha said,
You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection
The world is changing at an unthinkable speed. To strike a balance in life when you might be juggling with career, health, relationships & spirituality is by constantly reminding yourself “I deserve my love”.
- When you burn mid-night oil for your children & feel extremely tired ask yourself do your children need so much luxury that you have to wake up till late. Sometimes, out of love & affection we incline ourselves to doing what our children ought to do.
- “Is this necessary?”, always ask yourself this question. May be you might be working at extremes to gift a pleasant present to your loved ones. Stop! Do they really need it? In many cases, they shall be more happy with you if you could spend some quality time with them. They might be yearning to get your attention!
- We simply ignore the power of simple things in life. We always think in terms of something BIG. May be “Big” is the new disease. Quite often you will meet people telling you- I’ll gift her something big, I’ll be doing this or that only when I achieve something Big, etc. Isn’t that putting too much weight on future?
Buddha had shown us the path. It is up to us how far we can travel on the shown path. The basic mantra is to take care of yourself. There is no point in sacrificing so much to make others believe that you really love & care. The wise will know by just observing. So, take care of yourself 🙂
With Great Love,
